 Selective Infrastructure Outsourcing --
GSI approaches every relationship with the same proven process in order to maximize the delivered value of our comprehensive service. After we understand core business goals and examine infrastructural setup, a customized solution is presented to cover the management and operations of selected infrastructural parts. New outsourcing clients enter a service trial period, where relationship suitability is determined.
Selective Infrastructure Outsourcing is composed of four separate, but interrelated elements; each an ongoing process deployed around the clock as a part of our comprehensive offering. However, customers requiring GSI expertise for specific projects can order services separately.

Analysis - Business needs are examined and compared against the health state of the entire IT infrastructure. This results in a set of recommendations and procedural changes that enable technology to meet the quality, operational and infrastructure requirements of business applications.
Design - Recommendations developed (by GSI or other party) from the analysis phase are placed on the drawing boards and translated into deliverables according to functional engineering and technical specifications. Based on these specifications, an infrastructure change test and implementation plan is created, followed by an engineering process management proposal.
Implementation Based on a previously prepared (by GSI or other party) engineering design and management plan, our engineers test, implement and verify IT infrastructure changes. The process is carefully managed by senior systems engineers who communicate progress, risk, and recommended changes continuously to the client.
Management - This ongoing process varies in size and scope for each client, depending on business needs, IT requirements and technical environments. The entire infrastructure is monitored, maintained and operated to continuously provide requested business line functions at desired quality levels. We develop and implement a set of proactive methods (using inexpensive, off-the-shelf tools, as well as internally developed utilities) that allow monitoring of all critical areas within the infrastructure through an automatic notification system. Our engineers, available 24x7x365, learn of system state changes before systems stability and/or performance is affected. All IT infrastructure devices are maintained according to the latest tested and recommended secure configurations and their state and configurations, including all performed changes, are carefully documented. We also take part in IT strategy and configuration development as well as interactions with other parties related to the managed IT infrastructure: developers, application analysts, hardware and application support personnel, users, and application and hardware manufacturers.
